Hey guys, once again there are a lot of factors but I am just curious of 2 things. I am running a Plus-4btts, 30/9% Byron's, 9886 pipe, c6tgc plug.

1. What length of pressure line should one be running on one of these Nova's? MBX6r buggy

2. In general how many turns in should the LSN be on all out race tune? 4.5t?

I know a lot of variables but just generally speaking with these Nova's.

8 inches minimum and you are pretty close on lsn , sometimes there are some weird factors that can change things up but 4.25 is very close , maybe even 4 turns with dyn086hs

Thank you very much. I am right there and running good just more of a curiosity question than anything!!!!! Thank you much. If you say minimum of 8 inches, is more in the 10 inch ball park better?

I know, its not a screamer, But it seems to be doing "OK". Good enough to get my feet wet so to speak. Just tryin to get a feel for what pipes work best for it.Of the ones I have I guess I'll go with the JP3. Thanks

I have been using the Nova Rossi 2096/021 pipe and header, the 9901/021 also works well. Fuel mileage, depends on what your using in, buggy should get 10 minutes easy, and that depends on track layout, and size.

Yes I run one. It a great engine! VERY fast! I run it in my truggy. I've have about 3 races on it now. The first race was an indoor race for our regional pro series. I was able to pit at 10:30 without a problem. Now last weekend was an outdoor race on a track I was comfortable with so I was driving the truggy STRAPPED! lol. I was only able to go about 8:30 with it so I pitted at 7. But its a very good engine.

Backplate screws are 2.6mm....same as Hitec servo horn screws. And I've never checked the cooling head screws.

I personally like the flat head screws better than the hex screws. I've stripped out more hex heads than flat heads. If you have a good screwdriver, the flat heads work nicely.

Cool I got lots of those! Think I'll just try some cooling head screws from other engines and see what fits. I'll report back

Some of the other engines have different lenghts than others, why do you need to remove them so often?

A while back on this thread, I read that the RB ones work for the back plate.
