Are the Novarossi Plus 28-7T and RB RT10 identical? Their specs look very similar. Is the NR 7+3 on the ports too?

Anyone know if the RB No 6 (01051-6) plugs the same as the Novarossi's C6TGC's?

Thanks

Hi.

Nope, they are not similar. Novarossi are hotter than RB due to RB's "cold" house. Those cold houses are similar to Novarossi C6TGF plugs (on-road) according to Chris Peralta

Default Gas cooler

Anybody have any pics of mounting the gas cooler a good distance away from the pipe?

Gents our Novarossi BTT .21 (bone stock) has around 7ltrs on it has been running like a dream, Tonight at a day night meet it absolutely just gave us curry send it out spot on tune and it would go rich (over a 15min heat) to the point of sucking the tank dry in 5min to then lean bogging and overheating and flaming. Same glow plugs same fuel same car and pipe radio gear every thing. Last weekend we went up to the track practicing and for a solid 1.5ltrs it just ran spot on never missed a beat, constant 10:34min run time... had a few look at it tonight and we all were at the point of scratching our heads.... Ambient Temps were about the same.... give or take a few degrees...... 9901 pipe SS and long header pipe....all exhaust gaskets were replaced as well....

Does it sound like a front bearing ????

O' and yes we tryed new tanks, and fuel line even tryed a .01 head shim in as well made it a little better but not to the point of saying it was fixed...... same out come......

Any thoughts......

I ran two quarts thru my new BTTA before I leaned it little and raced it running little rich but as it got colder my temps dropped below 200f. I was able to keep it close to 200 in the quailifiers but when the A-main started it was like 20f with 40mph winds (yipes) so the motor got cold after about 5 minutes in around 160. It still ran good but I could tell it was cold but it was a points race so I had to finish and ended up third. Anyway I wonder if I hurt the motor running cold like that since it only has about 3 quarts thru it? I was scared to leave the sock on it worried it would over heat but I wish I would have now. Should I have leaned to get the temps up or run it with sock on it? Thanks!

Yep found the problem the front bearing was basically solid, It was the double seal one to... never seen that but even trying to move it with pliers was hard and knotty.... I had a new bearing on hand put it in and the Nova was back to its glory.... The nova Bearing hardly had any grit or dirt in it defiantly strange if it was full of muck i would have said ok but the crank and rest of the engine has no signs of grit going through...

Like i said to a few guys here we must have peeved of the RC Gods with the spate of luck we have been having just of late, Hope its all behind us now...

Yes thats correct, same as Fusion X and RB are Novarossi based/ built, MIT are Alpha and so on

But this is about what actual "brand" engine people are running

Os equal Nova anyway as one more was added. and well who knows what the 9 un named engines are...lol '

front bearing after 7 ltrs was there any wobble on the shaft? are you revving hard before landing? I like to try and strip my nova engines down after 2 meets give them a good clean and inspection and use a bit of miracle oil or transmission oil for the rebuild never had any issues with the bearings thats right through +4 toros btts p5s
cheers

you should have a splash guard on your tank drill a hole the same diametre as a small cable tie at the top of the guard and mount your exhaust cooler there
