There's only one way the piston breaks around the skirt area

Piston/sleeve set is like 70$ I believe , don't quote me on that though

Default Toro Team

Wow broke in a toro team and raced it today, let me tell you something, it great, It's really similar to the FMS plenty of we'll everything.....

I know it's expensive, but it is just about perfect. I do think they should include a .10 shim in the box to replace the .20 to lower the head for 25% though, minor gripe. I found one from an old p5 and there you go. Break in took a bit longer with the billet piston, but not too bad. I geared up my Mugen Mbx6 to a 14 tooth bell from 13, and put my favorite 9853ss pipe on it, and there you go.....Blazing fast, easy to tune, I freakin love Novarossi engines.....

I second your statement, I have been running mine as it came out of the box on 25% with the 41029 header and the 9901SS pipe with strong results. Seeing as you have stated a change in head shim maybe I need to look into that as I may be lacking and not knowing it. Is the 9853 a better pipe then the 9901?

Thanks
Sean

The 9853 will have a little more power at the cost of fuel economy. It depends on what u r looking for, as to better or not?

I got the 2084ss/41021 combo on my FMS that I just started breaking in,I just barely ran 2 qts thru it and it feels really good, tune isn't even close to what it should be and neither is break in. Anyone thats been saying that its weak on low end power is full o' bull poop!!!

I've run the RE10 with the 41020 header on my FMS in my 09 XT8 when I don't have my +4 in it. Really like that combo!

What's the correct shimming of the plus 4 engine?
It's used and came with 2 copper and one shinny one.

Should be two .30mm aluminum and one .20mm copper , if its older it could have been shimmed at .70mm ('08 version) .

.70mm would be more ideal for 25% if that's what you are using .
