Hello all,new novarossi owner/fan here and had a couple Q's.

I got a really good condition used team toro Nero and was wondering what temps it should be running at?

Also it seems a bit low powered but that was after swapping a picco jl red dot .28 so I'm wondering if that makes the toro seem slower, but this question is would it be worth it to send it in and have it modded up fairly extreme?

Will it push a very noticable power difference?

Also I'm running werks racing blend 30% and I belive stock shimming but not 100% on that, what should the proper shimming measure out to be?

Thanks in advance for any answers givin, also and modders out there pm me with some mod options for my motor,I plan to race track only no bashing.

Are you a good tuner is your motor tuned correctly if you need more help contact Neil at clockwork engines it will help you either way even if you don't buy an engine. His engines are one of the best in the industry you would be suprised who runs

I can tune fairly good,I just may have expected more out of this motor than its got.

Could I send it in to get clocked?

Will it be worth the time and money to mod this specific mill?

8-ports are torquey right? So it would make a good truggy motor?

It had an O'Donnell 97T in it, that about right? I have a gallon of Byron's Gen2 30%, that ok?

the 821b was a screamer

good truggy engine , clutch it up a bit , they came standard plug unless someone switched it out for turbo , 97t are ok but c5tgc or c6tgc would be much better , byrons gen2 race 3000 or pro driver will be great

what pipes you got ?

What would be a good clutch/flywheel setup?

It does appear to have tapered plug seat.

Came with Dynamite Platinum 053MR.

Also the Carb has a REX sticker on it and I don't have any venturi's.

The track I will run on most is average 1/8th scale size. Open, flowy layout. Good sized jumps but nothing insane.

Is everything on this motor the same as the 421B except the sleeve?

I was on the screen to email him and just said screw it and called him up,we chatted for quite a while,he's a real cool dude and knows his shiz for sure.

I ended up gettin one of his clocked novarossi bonito and opted for his break in service,he says I should have it by the weekend!

I can't wait to try my first modded .21!

Jammin' X1-CRT. I was looking at an M2C Quick Change 4 Shoe System but the Buku system looks really easy to tune.

If I run on a tighter track what would be a good pipe set to consider?

A little help here. I got a brand new nova plus 21-4T. The thing is, the engine comes with its own tapered collet. Should i use the nova one or remove it and use the one provided with the car kit plus the shim?

The one with the car is fine. I have never used the included collet

That dyn053mr will be good for what you got going on

M2c clutch system should be great on that setup also , the guys who run Neals engines shoul4 be able to give you some great clutch tuning advice on that clutch system
