Yeah I am going to get a new pipe soon but I hoped it would work as well as it did with my Nitrotec but I guess not I do have a RE11 also maybe I should give it a try. Which of the pipes has a better bottom because we have jumps coming out of corners and short runs between jumps? Which do you recommend? Thanks!

I am getting a 2096 but I also figured out my tune issue I had the idle screw way to far in after I set it correctly I was able to lean the bottom to 4.5 turns out. 230f and screaming I should have set after I broke-in the engine (1 1/2 gallons) but I usually just back it down as I am leaning out during run-in but it was really open from factory so it was still to far in after break-in. Thanks Again!

I am leaving you Alpha, hello Novarossi!
I am looking at buying the Plus 21-4 with the std plug. I potentially will have Monty break it in on the bench before he ships it. How much more fuel will I need to burn before "race tuning"? The reason I ask is that I likely will not have good enough weather before the first race of the season. A few days of decent weather and the street is all ill have.

You'll know when the "nuts drop." LOL. I had him do a break-in for me in '09 on a stock Plus4 and it was flawless when I received it. Like posted above it took more than half a gallon more to fully break-in and drop it's nuts. I still have that engine...12+ gallons...gettin ready to put in the 3rd front bearing(every 4 gallons like clock work)...had it pinched at 10... still working great.
However it has become the backup to my Xtreme Tuned X7 that I use in truggy. So I didn't get to use it much last year. Just in buggy a couple times.

I'm still very much a noob about engines. Although I flipped several pages on here, I can't really find a good comparison between the 21+4C team, bonito and a btts. Anyone here can help me out in listing the pros and cons of each of them and how they compare? I'm running both buggy and truggy, whc engines might be better for them?
Thx in advance! Would really appreciate any kind inputs

yea but do they work ok or fine or crap or not, reason i ask is its hard to source plugs in my remote location and easier to get os plugs can you use a os button maybee ?
#2277
A person I met here on Tech mentioned they have two head buttons for their 21-4C Team...one for OS plug and another for Novarossi plug. A bit extreme IMO but it works for him.

Its not a plus4 C but Ive been using os p4 plugs in my Nova plus4 btt with 30% fuel for the last 5 months no problems, work fine. They last about 2ltrs of fuel before they start to get tired and need replacing, obviously depends on the tune with life.
