Ok..I just bought a BONITO for my STRR Evo. Do I want to run the 2096/21 combo or the 9853/21 combo. Which pipe is better for that engine and truggy combo. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each pipe.

I believe the Toronto Nero crank will work too. Aren't they both 14.5mm?

Ok. Can you explain. I don't know what you mean by stroke. I have both and they look pretty similiar as far as fitment. It seems to fit in the case/rear bearing. The fms is double slugged, filled, and the hole in the middle is larger. While to toro is single slugged, smaller hole, and the scoop imseems to be in a slightly different place.

I'm no expert, but the difference in stroke if the diameter of ther crank is the same and the rods are both r7 then the difference is where the crank pin is. If it's farther out on the crank it's a longer stroke. I hope I'm not way off....
BTW what would happen if they are not the same but really close |

Ok well that makes sense. I wonder how far off they arey are. I can't find anything on the stroke length of the fms only the toro.
BTW what would happen if they are not the same but really close The Toro has a 14.5mm crank, same with the FMS, 21-7, and 21-5 series. the P5, 21-4 series, N21s, etc are all 14mm cranks. you could not put a toro crank in an FMS because the stroke it longer, and would push the piston up too far in the sleeve. Basically it wouldnt run right, if it even ran at all |
