How r u doing? One question. Why do people insist on running some new fuel that promises the world, and it always seems to use less oil. Around 8-9 percent usually, then guys burn up engines, not that the fuel is so terrble it's just they aren't experts at tuning and so on, so why do they have to buy into these gimmicks. I insist that fuel needs plenty of oil to work good, burnishing on break in, longevity, and so on. I like 11-14 percent, and currently I'm using Byrons 25% with 11% oil and it moves it out at the track. I did use Power Master 25% and it has 12% oil. Usually the higher oil content fuels have aound 50/50 mix synthetic/ castor, but the lower oil fuels use too much synthetic, and we all know castor oil is important....Wht is your opinion on the subject??????

i also will tell you that i know a few secrets about byrons fuels and what they use for oil blends and every mix contains a minimum of 6% castor oil

the other lubrication from a well known (#1 in fact) oil maker and is perfectly mixed gallon after gallon after gallon after gallon and cannot be beat for a complete overall package of engine longevity , power , customer service and consistency . there are other fuels that make a little more power but suffer in other depts.

monty
byrons have even got a following from novarossi , dont ask how i know this

and i do not believe some guy in his garage will be able to even come close to the big name companies that have the art down to a science and are perpetually gaining ground on pushing the envelope of high performance fuels .
no names mentioned on the garage fuels but they all know who they are and always try to undercut the top brands

Hey Monty,
second race with your P5XLT = second podium and a trophy
thanks to you, still ran the P5 with the 3005 pipe and the engine was great. tons of low-end power and screaming high-end. temp was around the 220 during the 45 minutes Amain and no issues at all.

cheers
Ali

Quick Question Monty,
My N21R has about a 1/2 gallon through it. It runs great, still running a little rich on top. However, sometimes on idle it will be idling fine not too high not to low. Then i give it a light bit of throttle, almost to clear it out and the idle goes down low. I was wondering if maybe the lsn is a bit to rich than when i give it the throttle it loads up with fuel?
Thanks

i usually have the guys leave the 8mm in and they still get great mileage

Monty, can you please explain to me the differences in the power characteristics of the +4C and the P5XLT? I'm going to order 1 of the 2 from you in the next couple of weeks and I don't know which one would be best. It's going in a truggy if that matters. Wish I could buy both but that's not going to fly.
Thanks
Thanks

Plus4C = smooth bottom with linear feel
Imo the p5 is better suited for a truggy and the plus4 is better suited for buggy

You can tune either with a few pipe selections that work very good on novarossi engines that have been posted before .
