Yep. If you can get your hands on one - do it. You won't be disapointed.

ill give it a try tomorrow and see how it reacts, runs pretty good the way it is now, still kinda gettin the 1/2 bog. when i get that right i doesent want to idle as well.
If you lean or richen the HSN, you will have to make corresponding opposite adjustments to the LSN most times to reset the balance. Also if you raise or lower the idle, you will be directly richening or leaning the LSN, so you have to reset the balance there as well. No one said is was simple :D, but it's very satifying when you get the hang of it. |
Well my MG setup at the moment is 6.5mm venturi, 0.4 shim stack, Amain 25% and just started trying the GO T6 plug, runtimes with this setup has been consistant 11 to 11.5 min(at sea level):sneaky:....and loving it:lol:

Yeh my Mg66 runs 7mm venturi,25% fuel ,go T4 plug, alloy .3mm + one .1mm copper shim...4mm shims total (well it will once I run it in again anyway) and I get regular 12m40 runtimes.I'm fast but very smooth on the throttle though , however even in nutter mode I can get over 10 minuutes .
The fuel thing though..Pretty much all the guys here run the 33% but I hated it when I tried it.Negligible performance increase over the 25% but the tuning was way harder to get spot on and it ate plugs at a frightening rate if I was even a fraction on the lean side.I don't see the need for anything over 25% and according to our French federation they are limiting nitro content to 25% max anyway for 2011.So I guess there will be a lot of 33% part containers being given away this xmas over here:o In my 808 with the MG66 I can leave guys running 33% with a 9mm carb,no insert and fuel stops every 6 minutes down the straight ..They don't much like it though!:lol::lol: should see the looks on their faces when I say 10 minute stops for me please.Muahahahahaaa |
