answer usa have the losi clutch set up & a lot of losi upgrade parts : http://answer-rcusa.com/zencart/inde...ex&cPath=28_13

if you get the optional engine mount for the losi 2.0 you can run the 3 shoe clutch

Have got the Go GX 7 Port and have had a bit of as problem,
Got the tune to stop at 7 sec on the pinch test and the idle at 0.7mm.
Ran the car hot and tried tuning the HSN, Ran great at settings Grizz Gave me and then went to pot,Very high idle on going down from Wot and then settled, looked and found the LSN 2 turns out from flush, reset this and ran again and the damn thing unscrewed again, fitted new black seals from Answer about half a gallon ago, can not see problem with seals but screw is loose to turn so presume U/S.
Is there any other seals I can use as i am running out of time to get some new or is there a fix i.e ptfe tape round them or similar, presume its seals but have put the engine on a new car today and wonder if ive set anything up wrong?
Hope you can help

Kevin

i would try alittle sealent on the threads, same as you would use to seal back plate or carb with, will still allow you to tune but will make it alittle tighter, ive done this on a high speed needle at worked great.

brilliant - will give this a try,

Thanks

cut off some fuel tube, slightly longer than the o'ring groove, & use that for now!

grizz will chime in as i think this is one of his fixs

+1 - the fuel tubing works a treat.

As Magpie said, cut the tubing a little wider than the O ring groove and fit the tubing into the O ring groove with the excess tubing facing the top of the needle assembly (ie the adjusting end not the needle tip).
Now gently screw the needle into place. The excess tubing will be cut away by the needle housing and will shred out the top as you screw the needle home. Back the needle out a little to remove the shredded excess tubing and you are racing.
The fuel tubing will last for yonks, and provides a nice tension on the needles which is easy to adjust but will hold itīs position.
Give it a try and see if it works for you

I tried and tried to get this method to work, but I didn't have any luck at all.....I wonder if some brands of fuel tubing work better then others ?

Fuel tubing does come in different sizes, so itīs possible this is the problem.
Thatīs a bummer Neal, everyone I know that has used this method as a temporary fix has found it very successful.
You donīt want the tubing too much wider than the O ring seat, just a smidge.

jwm2 11-15-2010 01:10 PM

I've noticed some fuel tubing is much softer than others. Might want to try the softest you can find.

kevinjh 11-15-2010 01:45 PM

have got some small dia tubing so if the sealant fails will give this a try,
Thanks for the info

you need the stuff with the thinner walls.I have 2 types..same internal diameter but I think the thin is 5mm and the thick is 6mm and is usually sold as "reinforced"..at least it is over here...the thin stuff works fine..
