For a truggy in the GX Series, definitly the 5 Port. It has bottom end for Africa. Next would be the 7 Port which has good bottom but is better known for it's insane top end. Lastly the 3 Port which is a very smooth motor and much more suited to a buggy.

Cheers ;)

yes i agree another TQ and Win for the MG in New Zealand ! And i hear the New Pure fuel is giving great results over there !

Hi all this is a question for people who may know more than me.

Has the head on the new go engines been completely re-designed or is it more of a 'cosmetic' change?

The reason i ask is that the head on my 'silver top' version the cooling fins are breaking away from the central tower, the four lower fins on the head closest to the bottom (below the body). The same has also happened to my friends cooling head on his go engine.

Both of these engines were purchased in australia, i emailed mark at massive mods but did not get a reply.

Hey guys, i just picked up a buggy with a Go 21 motor, gu says its a 3 port. Has a blue head on it, but it does not have a turbo button...

any idea what i need to get so i can use turbo plugs? I can take pics tomorrow of the motor if that is needed, but didnt know if i needed to or not. It is not the dark crank case, jus the natural colored one.

Thanks in advance.

The new head is much stronger, is better looking, and seems to dissapate heat better.

You need the 21-0207 turbo button to change over to use turbo plugs. You have the .21 sport motor, actually a very good motor. I do not have a turbo button on hand right now, if you can't find one pm me.

I was having low speed bog issues with my 3 Port Race engine for a couple weeks. I pulled the carb, needles, and the orings look like they're dry rotted. :weird: Where can I find an oring kit for all five orings on the motor? It's older non GX engine with the red anodized head.

That was a problem with the older "chocolate" coloured O Rings. The crankcase/carb O Ring will be the same. GO have now gone to black nitrile rubber O rings throughout. These are great and last extremely well.
Trey (user name Runne) from Go Racing USA will be able to help you with the O Rings, or put you onto the closest shop to you that stocks them.
In the meantime simply make some needle O Rings out of fuel tubing. These work great and will get you up and running until you get the new nitrile ones.

They don't come as a kit, so just order the following:

1 x OR-0014 carb O Ring
1 x OR-0004 carb to crankcase O Ring
2 x OR-0023 needle O Rings
2 x OR-0032 pinch bolt O Rings
1 x OR-0003 Backplate O Ring

Cheers :)

Fuel tubing...never would have expected that, I'll give it a try. Thanks for the part numbers and quick reply Grizz.
