Rex, let me know on them head buttons. Also, do you have a lathe? And if you do, what would you charge for the button and turning the flange down .016. You can PM me about that.

Would a GO .28 sport 3 port with EFRA 2072 Pipe be a good fit for a LST2 muggy? Would that pipe fit well with the LST2 design?

just so everyone knows, i just put my GO turbo plug on my nova plus4 and fits perfect, rod also fits perfect, is there a reason that all novarossi parts fit the GO engines exactly? was his a planned idea? a copy?

MassiveMods 09-15-2010 06:47 PM

29.5 mm rods are pretty interchangeable in 60 % of engines. its a common design

I have a lot of turbo Novarossi plugs left, so can use them on MG 66 engine with no problems?

The Nova plugs don't go too well in the MG66 and GX motors. Don't know why, they just don't like them. Best plug we have found for 25% or 30% fuel on these motors is the O'Donnell 97T (Med temp). These perform and last very, very well in these motors.

I think if you had it shimmed right the Nova plugs may work. Most Go's come with fairly low compression, I think this is the reason they like a hotter plug.

Low compression? :weird: I don't know if you meant to say that but my go engines have some of the most compression i've ever had in a nitro engine.

Rex has ran these motors for a long time an knows much about them. Maybe you are mistaking PINCH for compression. compressions deals with shim hight with the head button. so you can take your tighly pinched motor and increase the compression by removing the nessisary shims. these motors do have alot of pinch but these compression is about average with the rest.
