Does the MTX use a smaller oneway bearing? I thought the one on the MTX and the 710 is 8 mm.

Yes, it is definitely lighter. Using it will mainly help with reducing the weight of your car. It is not too effective in reducing rotational moment of inertia because the diameter is small ... still there is a small effect.

More static weight reduction ! Not like the car needs it.

Sorry I was not there on the day itself. Fell ill during the weekend. Was suppose to be there to support my own RC buddies to pit for them but could not do it also.

But a few days ago before the race when I was there helping out my friends, I saw that Gary and gang were superb on the track ! The way they drove, it was as if they were practising weeks before on the track. The 710 was superb in their hands. Really stable. It sure looked like they did not need any moral support. The track layout was new so all the local guys had to "relearn" the track. I think we talked briefly to Chris but never introduced ourselves properly.

My apologies to them. Will try to meet them someday. Maybe in Thailand or in Indonesia. Cheers to them for their good showing and TQ.

Default EC Amstetten

Looks like it will be just fine with the 710 and the new Mega engine.

Sir Julius is maybe still thinking of flying in his Boeing

Mr Green does also well ( while not being hit with a fryingpan by Uncle Sow )

Hi

I have a problem, my 710 begins to shift to 2. gear wayy to fast, after 4-5 mins of driving. It is ok the first 3 mins, but then it starts to shift to secont gear, imidiatly after giving throttle out of a slow turn. It happens mostly after the straght, going into a sharp 180 d turn, when giving throttle, it shifts back to 2.

When i go for next race, after 10-15 mins, its ok again, but problem starts after 3-4 mins , gain.....

Anyone having the same prob?? or have had it??

Ooops ... you have to let the wifey win, then she'll be more race firendly.

Don't cry o' young one. Your time to be Golden Oldie is approaching too ... now go learn from Gary Soh. That guy seems hot over there these days!

Yes the MTX one is smaller. It grips directly onto the shaft so it must be 6mm. This is why, I think, the Mooogen appears very efficient in the transferring the power from the engine ... no back/forward lash from the pin everytime you apply power. Well, maybe ...

Yeah, I know ... that's why my second 710 is stock. I need to give old Mark a chance by making my car heavier!
