Funnily enough and completely by accident, in my first bike race I raced under the number 27 it was a sign!!!

Hey, how did the break in of the PRECIOUS go?
Well, I've only got three tanks through it at the moment - mostly with the wheels off the ground, but I couldn't get the temp up as it was so cold yesterday. It rained the whole day so I had to come home - it was pointless trying to continue, as I wanted to do the rest of the run-in on the track "on-load" as it were.

Today's weather seems ok, but I'm training with my racing partner and tomorrow is a day with the GFs Tuesday I should be free to do what I want and then on Wed I travel to Switzerland for my bike tour/mountain training until a week come the following Sunday

The engine seems nice, though - it starts easy and even though everything is very rich, I can, with a little care, pull away without the engine cutting out - I'm getting the impression of bigger problems with the 2106 now

Thanks guys. One guy at my LHS said that maybe the grease I'm using in the diff is to slippery wich is making the diff balls slide on the plates and not turn? He said maybe thats why I have to have the diff so tight so that the pulley won't turn. I'm using a Synthetic automotive grease. I'm going to order the Super Grease this week and will wait to rebuild my diffs and Centax thrust till I get it!

Default Front Ball Diff

Hi,

I took the oneway diff out today and put the ball diff in to try it. I lost both dogbones whilst on the track, do i need to run a narrower front track or put some foam on either end of the dogbones.

This is common with the diff. Use foam or fuel tubing. I use foam with good results. All my friends use tubing.

Do you mean when there are several boxes of quotes?

Each section of quoted text starts wth two sets of squared brackets, the first one containing the word QUOTE and then second on the letter B.
And at the end of the quoted text comes two more sets of squared brackets this time the first one contains /B and the second one /QUOTE

When you hit quote and you wish to write some text in the middle of a quoted section, simply go to the position within the text where you wish to write and then type the two sets of squared brackets with /B in the first one and /QUOTE in the second.
Then write your text and when you've finished, remember to put another set of squared brackets containing QUOTE and B before the quoted text continues.

If this still isn't clear - simply hit the quote button on one of the postings where this is done and you'll see how it was achieved.

Cheers, Mark.

Yes, I run narrower front trackwidth like 196 mm. No fuel tubing used. It also helps not to set the travel end point of the steering to lock max on either sides. Use just enough.
