The alfa is a Losi. It was painted by Maarten Pothuizen for the euro's last year. I haven't run it yet, but RickV used it at Heemstede and was really fast. So I finally took the time to mount it for a testdrive....

Didn't see any cooling/refuelling cut-outs on the shell.
Is this a show-shell?

But the dots can be made by spraying a bit of silver in a jar. Then using a very small brush put the dots on the windowframe. Them back it with black.

Coming from 1/8 I wanted to run solid rear and one way front. Haven't tried it yet, so will be interested in the results.

)1way front + rear solid you can expect fastest cornering.
With a BIG but, very much unpredictable maybe its me. Even in very high traction condition. Even with softest rear setting + 3.0 rear toe-in.
Only 1 driver (at least I ever saw it myself) who using it, Master Suruth in Srinakarin. But he was using Alfa Romeo 2.0 shell with sky-high rear wing, so i realize that he is dying for rear traction too.
For me, the setup is sacrificing (??) others section too much.

Do you have the pic of the one that was custom made by Hobbylink Sing by any chance ?
About the nats #1, there have been few things that prevent me from racing out of town. So, I'm kinda like a master of my own domain

I think a solid rear has much less rotating mass compared to the standard diff. Have you noticed anything from it while running a solid rear ?
BTW, what rear tire width do yo run with lola ?

Just Race,
You have been painting some real cool bodies. Are you going to hook me up for the next race. Let me know.
Thanks

Guys,
Putting together my latest babe, a 710. It's been ages since I had my hands on a serpent. Now this is what I call a racing breed!!
I was reading through previous pages on this thread to see what the 710 gurus were doing and came upon this...
1) What's the reason for cutting the flyweights and and then putting it between the pins on the flywheel?
2) What are the benefits?
3) What's wrong with the original design of it attached to the pin?
Anyways, it seems like we are going backwards to how the original centax1 was designed....free floating weights(with circular spring attached).
Ceramic ball for diff necessary? Seems llike the huge steel balls will last some what (comparing it to my EP car - ceramic balls are a huge advantage).
Cheers!
