Default Bearing Oil

Anybody running bearing oil in the hubs? If so, what are you running? Seems like a good idea, but also seems like it would be a mess!

The lids do tend to not close compeletly if you dont give it a little push down.

I was having engine issues this last weekend as well, mine would cut off after a long straight but only after a couple laps on a fresh tank.

I am starting to think that maybe my pit man didnt push down the lid and this could have caused the problem.

Whats weird is that i changed my fuel line and noticed my fuel filter was coming loose on the end where it comes apart and tightned it back up...no more bubbles after that.

I will agree its not his engine that is causing his problems though, something is up with his tank. I had the same type of issues with the rc8 tanks.

One of the first things I checked. I always let the lid SNAP back down and not just slowly let it down too. I will let my pit guys know to, to just let it snap back down....once I can race it.. LOL

you can cut a Thin notch into the lid and use some throttle bands for extras insurance the tank lid is closed....I use them on my Losi's and have done up a couple buddy's mugen's as well...NO more needing to Push the tank lid down to ensure its closed...Just let it SNAP and its closed Guaranteed.

Once my tank is about to get empty i have on many occasions, opened the tank while it was running and filled it back up. No air bubbles in my line. I guess that would only matter once you throtle i guess.

The only time I see bubbles is when the tank is completely empty. If you see bubbles prior to empty, either the tank or fuel lines have a leak, or the engine/pipe is very hot and vaporizing the fuel in the lines.
