I have a revtech 13.5 and it runs real nice. Good mix of low end and top end. And it runs cool also.

I should have video of the POS truck tomorrow. My 8 year old made it, lol. no idea how bad it is, but the entire race I just wanted to plow this truck into a pole.

lol, you have to say that, your sponsored. that being said, the avid sabertooth are nice.

Actually I ran them before I was sponsored by Avid. I really do like the wheels, the way they look, the stiffness and they seem very light compared to some other wheels to me.

But mostly I was just responding to the +3 being hooked up. I noticed a big difference. :)

.

I think a lot of people look at it the wrong way.

I'm sponsored because I was already using the products and really, really liked them. Because I liked them so much, I got lucky and was fortunate enough to get picked up. So basically, I've always used and liked Avid products, long before I was sponsored.

And the "hooked up" comment was more a comment about the +3 making my car feel more hooked up. ;)

But honestly I wouldn't say anything positive about a product I didn't care for, especially on a public forum. I'd just keep to myself about it. :)

Handled well, kudos.

I'm eager to try mine out and compare them to my old pin and bearing 0 offset setup.

Already here is the train wreck front last night. I think I might need more limiters in the rear and maybe heavier oil. Notice how the rear just pitches to much.. thoughts. white and yellow truck.

What's your current setup?

The front of your truck looks really good, it looks very hooked up. The rear of your truck looks either over dampened or over sprung (or a combination of the two). I see it bouncing a lot more than it should.

I'm running Avid yellows all around 35wt F/30wt R #3 piston in the front, #2 piston in the rear on the V2 shocks (Avid 12mm spring conversion all around).

Wildcat1971 04-14-2013 03:44 PM

I had 30 rear wigh losi yellow and #1 piston

Wildcat1971 04-14-2013 06:51 PM

I out the #2s in the rear and added 1 more limiter for a total of 3 in the rear. I was on a different track today, more bite. But I really fell like it was more planted in the rear. Lastly I went from .060 washers in rear rear to non. That really helped to to stay flatter in the rear. Overall the truck was better today, but it always seems to do well indoors on medium bite. I need it better out doors. I am really hoping these changes help it outdoors next weekend.

I primarily race outdoors so my truck is really dialed in for it. If you want I'll post a setup later when I get home so you can see what I'm doing. :)

What a smooth looking track you have, nice surface there wildcat. Chamelion, handled a lot better than your comments huh! I would appreciate a lot more respect for the pros who come on here and help us mere mortals out.

Granted, my track here is a lot dustier, bumpier and loose. It's pretty rough, but more often than not I'd have TQ'd or been close to TQ in the 4wd SC class had I run with them. :)

Here you go, I couldn't attach the PDF so I screen capped it as large as I could get it on my monitor. Hopefully it's still readable.

It works really well for me so far, I've been very happy with my truck. :)
