I tried some slash rear wheels on my sc10 and they were awesome! The rear end was always hooked up. With these and the weights I should be moving out real good.

I tried a set of my sons from his old slash with Gridirons on them. They stick out to far to be legal for me, but they do work if you did a hex conversion. I just dont like how far out they stick past my body.

It is an out-of-date race series in the Midwest called:

Championship Off Road Racing series.

This is the predecessor to the TORC series (Traxxas Off Road Championshio). CORR died like SODA. My father used to race SODA in Class 3 and was champion in 1983.

I run slash tires on mine and the wheel width is great against traction roll, because its so wide!!

Thanks! That's at least one thing I don't need to worry about.

Ok I am thinking out loud here, it seems to me that the sc10 is sloppy with rpm on it, I mean like it feels more accurate or controllable with the stock arms, like they rant as flexxy as the rpm ones are!!!

Wildcat1971 04-01-2013 02:39 PM

genius, you mean the unbreakable rpm arms are more flexible than the stock ones. My god, you sure solved that puzzle, lol. The rpm stuff is designed for smashing into objects, not designed for racing.

platgof 04-01-2013 03:01 PM

RPM actually works for racing when you hit as much stuff as I do on the track! ACILL, make sure you use the slash rear wheels, not the fronts. Fronts are too wide.

Servo

Looking to upgrade servo on sc10rs any suggestions it' just feels like it doesn't turn very good around corners we built a 7 ft wide track on 2,200 sq ft

Wildcat1971 04-01-2013 06:30 PM

Pickup a solar 770 from hobbypartz.com

mblgjr 04-01-2013 06:31 PM

Have you glued the servo saver?

Otherwise any servo that has 70 oz/in of torque, or more will suffice.

Pointblankya 04-01-2013 06:39 PM

Glued?? Not very educated on this kind of stuff yet can you explain it to me

Well I didn't say they were designed for racing, I just figured they r flexible to the point that u can't race with them, I tried, and it makes my truck way to wobbly.....and I am a genius, don't let anyone else tell u diferent:lol::sneaky:
