Did that to mine a couple weeks ago. Head on collision with a plywood covered stud wall will do that. Mine was left hanging by the steering link and sort of drove away from the accident (my son was driving it at the time).

Yup, I got attacked by another driver from above, lol.... It gives me an excuse at last to tear it down and do a complete rebuild now at least.

SC suspension

Orange springs are too soft. Gray or silver Losi not sure which is stiff (not green)

40wt front and rear

Rear ballast only for weight

Shorty pack locate where needed, generally mid.

Steering is adjusted by battery and between 1 and 3 washers up front. 1 increased steering, 3 least steering. Battery forward will calm the vehicle, not claiming more steering, yet that's how it works for me. (This assumes tires are correct)

Ride height

32 ft

No I got taken out by a rogue truck.

buy an rpm bumper, it supports he chassis. :)

Acill 03-31-2013 04:49 AM

Yeah, but they are ugly and heavy. This chassis has some miles on it and I think I got more than fair life from it. I got this truck the day the FT went on sale. What is that like 4 years?

i bought a used sc10 few yrs ago and it came with the rpm bumper what i did was put a stock one and cut the rpm to protect the chassis as it was one of the original versions

I have done the same thing and it works just the same without the huge RPM bar bumper hanging off the front. Just cut the RPM skid flush with the front hinge pin retainer and bolt the stock bumper assembly back on.
