As far as tires go it will depend on your surface, cause every track is different ,as was stated, just ask at ur track and I am sure u will get some ideas as to what sticks the best:) good luck.

I've been racing the same SC10 for a couple years now and finally managed to snap a chassis. My son was checking out how dialed she was and jumped it slightly less than perpendicular into a plywood covered stud wall at a pretty good clip. The chassis snapped and the upper bulkhead bought the farm too so the truck was basically in two large pieces with the steering links holding it together. I should have taken a picture. I'm sure the RPM bumper would have had a better chance of surviving but this was a hard hit.

For the first track I use barcodes in the front and rebars in the rear. I would also go with SC10 4x4 offset wheels. These wheels may not work if you don't use hexes. If not 3mm offset hazards.

I want to know how much weight can one run in the rear of the battery tray? Is 630 grams too much?

I just purchased a used sc10 and was wondering if anyone has used / is using the proline power stroke shocks on the sc10. I have a brand new set of powerstroke shocks that I purchased for a traxxas stampede to truggy conversion that I never got around to doing. According to proline they do work on the sc10 but when I put them side by side the proline shocks seem to be about 5mm longer than the stock sc10 shocks (I have a Factory Team SC10).

Is it even worth using the powerstroke shocks or are the stock ones really good? (The ones on my truck seem to be leaking).

use the stock shocks and use the big bore springs and they are good,just purchase a rebuild kit and your good to go. Or if you have some extra cash big bore shocks!

I run the powerstrokes on my ft sc10. They work good enough for a second on my last race. My setup is med bite clay track with some big whoops.
front blue top/green bottom springs out on the bottom and middle on top
rear blue top/green bottom springs out on the bottom 4th hole in on top.

Ughhh.....what?! That's gotta be a typo lol

I am thinking of going to 30 though
Then run it as low as it will go. It only goes down to 28mm.
