Why is there 8mm under the inside ball stud on the tower ?
Because it never happened?

Hartson ran none.

Kody ran 7mm under the inside ball stud, and the 8mm riser on the hub carrier.

Too easy.

My truck was good tonight..really good..I wasn't that good....but the SC10 was great..let's hope nick doesn't use this set up..we'd be done, his SC10 is good but not as good as mine..I'd say if he ran Kodys set up he'd be into the 13's in no time at all....I was running Kodys set up tonight except I went to 32.5 in the rear..due to the high traction the 30 was to soft..

That's the exact same soil as The Ranch used to be. Kind of sad, they both blew up a couple of world class asphalt tracks in order to put in world class off roads, now we've only got Rev left in the IE. I always looked forward to running at The Ranch back then.

Sadly, Revelation is also the exact type of conditions that have caused most of my feelings of dissatisfaction with the AE truck. My current game plan is to run the coupled slipper (which I think really helps on both the run up and air control in supercross style jumps, IMO), and just deal with the fact I'll never have the fastest chassis on a lap per lap basis, and just run it for fun - IF I feel like doing the three or four hour post race overhaul to check the axle bearings, swapping the A arms, and checking out the other stuff that those big off road tracks pound on.

So, when users post questions like this:

Users like Oasis are not being snarky when they post responses like:

He's only half kidding. Indoors, it's awesome. Outdoor, yeah. It might be as simple as my Jconcepts molded inserts I run are too stiff. All I know is my SC10 and RB4.1 are super competitive both indoors and outdoors with only a tire change, and my SC 4w isn't.

Because you raised the outer (in your case the exact same amount), and you only wanted to lower the roll center, but keep the camber event pretty close to the same as before?

That's would be the same reason you grind down the chassis U on the B4.1 and run the C hub (except there you want to raise the roll center, which is why you lower the upper link).

Other than that, I have no idea what's going through your head on that one. I'd be interested to hear it (even if I disagree).

From TSR...
The SC10 4x4 shock diaphragms are blended from pure silicone versus the rubber used in the AE versions. Our SC10 4x4 set includes 4 black diaphragms which are soft and 4 orange diaphragms which are firm.

The set has also been recently updated and now includes both soft and super soft pressure foam inserts.

As for your questions regarding the diaphragm set adding soft diaphragms or foams will reduce the rebound effect within the shocks. Our sets allow the use of various settings ex: soft diaphragm / super soft pf insert in rear and soft diaphragm / soft pf in front.

The captured design just means the pressure foam fits within the diaphragm through slits in the bottom of the diaphragm. This design does not reflect any dampening effect just the style of diaphragm used.

We usually run a set up in short course similar to the one in the example above which adds a bit more pre-load to the front shocks while the rear is set soft as possible to improve traction.

These diaphragms seem great!!, but would the palladium foam even
be used in our SC104x shocks??(rear, front,both?)
Do i have to use the foams with these?? Do the slits allow these
to be used without the foams?? Do the Orange&Black both have slits??

Any1 else any examples of bladders like these?,
no offense they seem great, but i would like to just get the
diaphragms without the foams, unless i get a better idea of
the advantages of using these palladium foams??
I know there are bladders just like these, without slits or foams,any1?

How did you get 8mm under the ballstuds??? I couldn't get the 12mm stud to tighten down trying to run 7.5mm.

Their not palladium, just foam... I was just joking. (bad tech, I killed a puppy)

The foams are another tuning option, you can use them front and/or rear or not use them.
The soft diaphragm gives you less rebound in your shock build and the firm are the same as AE's... both a better material.

G-wiz,

you claimed you did your homework .....

Craig

Question I asked you is a real good one .

No one has questioned why Ae raised the stud so high and thought most here would have a interest in the reason ...

Giving Craig more time to find correct answer..

Trim 1m off plastic above metal tab of stud mount.

Happy bday vito!

Craig...
Me biggest issue was in the air....sometimes I wouldn't have any control bc for a while it got windy where as the 8th scales are heavy enough. I don't mind beating her but she held up. also one of my lipos was puffing....prob bc of the beating. Lol

The lady there was telling me it used to be on raod. I forgot to return my badge to get my dollar back.
