The 2deg hubs work really good in dusty dry track. I have ran mine on my track with no water and it hooks up really well and still has a nice slide.

I did the losi 2 deg rear hub @ our local track and it hooks up well with stock slash tires and a 10.5 SS, I'm thinking of dropping in a 8.5 SS.

One of the stock SC10 RTRs showed up at our track last night. Seriously straight out of the box at $230.

Same exact parts as the kit plus

radio
lrp speed control
17 turn reedy
mg steering servo (fairly decent)
for $30 more

He was able to clear all of the triples and doubles as me on our 1/8 scale huge track.

I am running a mamba max 5700 with 18/87 and 50002s lipo.

He threw the same battery in the stock SC10 RTR and it was amazing.

wish I had known they would release this less than a month after the kit release.

Also feel like I was kinda screwed on my kit as all of the parts are the exact same as the RTR. You just get all the electronics with the RTR and a free build (if you into that sort of thing). Would feel better if my kit came with better parts/ more aluminum/ or factory team parts.

oh well

live and learn (and get kinda screwed)

Still love my SC10

Well the good thing is that thay will sell rtr to a lot more people making the class bigger. I wish i had also waited and got the radio esc ect for my 5 year olds truck:D give it a few months and you can buy sc10 refurbished. @ rc10.co like the rtr b4 & t4 http://order.aeteam.net/product_deta...Itemcode=7024R

If you've been in this hobby for any amount of time you knew this was coming! I knew it but I still bought mine, I wanted to have one when they came out and now I do. The factory team kit probably won't be released for a while yet, they will wait to see what people are doing for setups, mods and what not, then incorporate those into the team kit. I would expect I would expect the team kit to come out in about 2-3 months

Those wont work. The geometry is different than the standard ones and will bind up either the suspension or the axle. You can use those with GT2 arms but youll also have to redrill where to mount the ballstud as well as the hingepin.

Yeah, this has been covered numerous times in the thread. However, I hear that the whole GT2 combo described works well.
