My shock rubbed a little bit. Took a e-xacto and removed a little material. Don't have to do a lot, just enough that the shock will be free on the ball.

Add a washer to space the shock away from the shock tower maybe?

yeah i think space out slightly and shave some material from tower too, as you dont want to space to much or springs may rub on turnbuckles too much.

I was wanting to run the hazard +3mm rims and slam my body shell, but with the standard AE 09 body the rear tires scrub at the top of the body pretty bad (even do with the standard rims).
Does anyone know whats the best body to run for more tire clearence in the top of the wheel well and also the sides for the +3mm rims.

I run the Flo-Tek with hazards, no problem

It's not the endpoints. These are nowhere near maxed out.

Just get the external BEC and be done with it :)

I do too, it's a close fit so pay extra attention when reaming the body mount holes so that it fits just right and doesn't have more hangover on one side vs the other

Anyone run the Flo-tek and the Hi-Flow? Which (using the stock cutouts) fight parachuting better?

I made my own glitch buster with this http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...uctId=12460901
I have no issues what so ever.

Hey guys,

We're gonna buy an RTR SC10, brushless kit for my girlfriends kid to get him into the hobby.. Without having to go through the whole thread can you tell me what spares I should get. We're gonna be racing at a local indoor clay track (small).. thank you!

There aren't too many things you will really need to get started with the truck. Its pretty durable out of the box. The bodies tend to absorb a lot of the abuse. Some of the wants that folks start with are the RPM bumper (claimed to reduce the chance of breaking the chassis), RPM rod ends, and the toe in hinge pin set with different toe blocks and antisquat shims.

Ok cool.. yeah I forget that the body takes most of the hit... not like the open wheeled cars I'm used to running.. Thanks!

Is anyone having much luck with a gear diff in this truck. I have tried it before and not been too happy with it but it seems to me like i read somewhere you can take the internal gears from an SC10 4x4 gear diff and use them in the 2wd gear diff. Is this true? If so, does it perform any better than the original gear diff? Thanks for the help.
