Trailing steering blocks
Building a FTSC10, From my understanding when you run trailing steering blocks. You mount the ball studs on the rear hole of the steering rack for the turnbuckle. Hence you use the front holes on the rack when you are using inline steering blocks. But the manual sez to mount the ball studs in the front holes of the rack even tho the kit is using trailing blocks. What do you guys think? Is this just personal preference or is there a sound theory behind it?

Jake ft hole = more steering rear hole = smoother , less steering |
ok guys i just picked up my 2nd sc10 and this 1 has the b3 trans in it with a ball diff. does anybody know the gear ratio to the b3 trans? and with the ball diff which way do i turn the adjustment screw to loosen it? right now the diff is set so that both wheels turn the same direction

BTW, your rear arms are on upside down, swap them left to right.
Thanks! |
Bearings
Putting B 44 alum hubs on. Should I just use AE 7935 bearings, or are there better ones to use?
Thanks:cool: |
Whats the best 12mm hex conversion for the Factory team kit?
J concepts? do associated make them? proline? do they make something for the front as well also is the mod worth doing? Im going to be racing my kit |
I have been running the proline setup front and rear for 7 months. I love it. The sc10rs is the cheapest way to go but the hexes are plastic. I like the hex mod it allows me to swap tires front and rear.
