Remember that an SC10 is quite a bit heavier. It depends on the motor and ambient temperatures, while RPM ranges vary by track.

Not knowing which motor, you should follow 20 SMOKE's advice (I could even start lower @ 81/22.). Always be conservative with a new setup, and check temps regularly.

Where do you run down here?

I don't know of a hot setup. Check the sheets from Associated for ideas: http://www.teamassociated.com/setupsheets/SC10/

Personally, I start with the 08/01/2010 one that is mis-marked. It's actually an indoor clay track...

Does anyone know of an aluminum 1 piece design for the steering linkage, the link between servo horn and steering rack?

I will be going there this weekend and the following, so we'll see how the setup works there. The last time I was up to OCRC, it worked excellent. I'm not sure what to compare SDRC to; I run basically this setup with a short wheelbase and more ride height there.

Of course, I'm also still quite n00b-ish, so keep that in mind.

I'm looking for some gearing advice for a boosted 10.5 setup. I have a Ballistic 10.5 / Tekin RS. I currently have it at 22/81. Am I in the ballpark?

have a temp gauge? run it for 5 minutes or so, if you're under 130 you can gear it up, if you;re over 150 gear it down.

Hello,

does anyone know how fast a box stock SC10 Brushless RTR would go on a matched and zapped 7 Cell NIMH pack?

Wild Cherry 07-18-2011 01:55 PM

19/81 profile 4 check temp around 2-3 min,if low and your track can handle it go to profile 5 if still good go to 20-21.

Why do you ask? Are you trying to compare to the Traxxas "stated" MPH ratings?
