I run the same set-up, tends to have a little more body roll than I would like (can get a little tipsy on the high speed stuff) but it "floats" on the bumps and has tons of forward bite. Everything else is built to the manual other than the above settings..

Ok.

so one was an x-11 run 4 times in a sedan, doesn't mean it wasn't damaged before you got it....what did you gear this motor? what were the other 3 motors and their gearing? i know i gear the x-12 about 3 teeth lower than the x-11.

Ok, I've officially got a problem. I've burned up 4 13.5's in about a year in my SC10 - ya, 4. I bought all of them used, but they were far from used up - one was an LRP X11, and it was ran 4 times, in a sedan - and lasted one night of racing indoor offroad. The others were nearly as new, and they all gave up on me eventually within a mont hor two - and I only race every other week. I'm running the same gearing as everyone else - 75/25 - and then I geared down to 87/23 - still killed a motor. I'm running an LRP Sphere TC, on default settings. I do not go full throttle around the track for the 6 minutes of racing, but it's an SC - it's heavy and hard on stuff, but no one else is having these problems. I've switched ESC's, motors, gearing, tires, sensor wires and ESC settings. Nothing has helped. I run the gear diff for now and an Aoxing 5000mah 20C pack. The drive train is free, no binding.

Any ideas?

Try buying a new one and see how long it lasts.

Nah...after the race Weds night we had some gnarly winds picking up going toward that decent-sized double right before the small double
http://ccrcr.bhpimages.net/pics/trackwide.jpg

After a couple post-race laps of the wind pulling the nose of the truck up in the air, ThunderbirdJunkie thought "hmmmm..." and approached said double with some decent speed and let off the throttle. Wind gusted, pulled the front end up, stabbed the throttle hard, and completed a great backflip with the truck:lol:

Tried it a couple more times, and it didn't work out so hot.

conversion? I was at the hobby shop with my t4 in hand today. new parts (chassi, wheels, body, body mts, frt tower, and couple other things) came to $165. left the t4 behind with $150 and have a highly upgraded ft sc10 setup by the store owner :lol::lol:

just proves u can actualy get a roller for less than converting
