i have a spektrum dx3s setup on my sc10 and been using the temp sensor to monitor my motor temps. i have the wire wrapped around my motor. i drove it for 12 minutes and temps got up to 136. thats after doing speed runs and bashing around the yard at full throttle most the time.. can this be acurate? how acurate are those temp sensors on these spektrum radios? is this even safe to use on brushless motors?
i am runing the sidewinder sv2 4600 with a smc 7.4 50c 5400mah btw

But it's pretty much go with a smaller pinion or a larger spur if you want to lower motor temps

yeah thats what im talking about.. i need to know what to do.. go up or down on either spur or pinion.. i think i found it

Given the answer, repeat the answer, ask the question again. wow! I'm sure he told you.

Diid u just fart? Man some people can be ignorant.. I wasn't asking a questtion I was making sure what I found was righht. And this is why most people don't askk questions cause ignorants try to make them feel stupid thinking they are smarter then others. It is ok to ask questions iisnt it? Cause this is a forum..

Invest in a $20 temp gun. 136 after 12 mins is pretty close to where u wanna be. Just make sure you let it rest 10 mins or so inbetween packs.

Hopefully someone here can help!
I am not new to the hobby, but I havent ever had this problem so im hoping someone can help me out.
In my sc10 I just got I took it outside today to try it out after i bound my remote to it and got my electronics put in it. But it was making a barking sound. so i tightened up the diff, went back out and it was still making a barking sound...so i loosened it up a little more and it was just slipping way to much...so i tightened it back up and went back out, but it was still doing it. Then i took it all apart rebuilt it, put it back together and still doing the same.
So i moved on to the slipper(i am not very familiar with trying to set these)
I loosened it up, and it was just slipping way too much..then i kept tightening it more and more and more and it still continued to bark. The only other thing I am wondering is if the slipper pads, or the slipper pad holders maybe need replaced? would that be causing the problem? Hopefully someone can help! Ive been going crazy today trying to figure it out!
Thanks,
Matt Beckham

first adjust both the slipper & diff , use the instructions as a guide.....

the slipper nut usually only needs to show 3 to 6 threads past the top shaft.

Don't worry so much about grazing the pads , you can clean then by sanding them on 400 grit sandpaper.

The barking sound was most likely your diff slipping , you may need to tighten it some...
