Thanks. I think I'll just stick to 1/8 tires since I already converted it. I was thinking it would be nice to go back to original SC tires but since it's not as easy as I thought.... oh well, I only use it for bashing.

I have a brand new set of DE Racing wheels with Double Dees that are for 17mm hex conversion. Great for street and hardpacked dusty surfaces.

Bought these brand new yesterday , mounted them up but they don't fit my 4x4

My sacrifice your gain.

Asking $45 obo plus shipping

I have been talking to Associated once a week for the past 3 weeks, they may have them after inventory other than that there is no official date yet

It's funny how the SC10RS is out but the replacement parts are still not available. My local hobby shop got them today, they have 2 in stock.

We're still waiting on basic replacement parts for the SC10 4x4 and that's been out for a couple months now:rolleyes:

Which servo spacer??

Building my FT and I need to know which servo spacer/stering horn I need to use. I'm going to be using a EXI servo from hobbypartz. Thin, thick, or none?

Thanks
Mark

Almost finished building my FT SC10 & was wondering if anyone has added extra weight to the rear end of the truck to control the tail-happiness.

MarkA 06-22-2011 10:18 AM

Many people run some combination of the FT rear bulkhead weight or up to 3oz of lead under the rear battery pad.

Asharus 06-22-2011 10:22 AM

Right now I'm running 1 oz underneath the battery foam in the rear and 1/4 in each rear triangle. People use up to 3 oz back there though. I run indoor clay and outdoor dirt.

For unbrand servos in this truck for which there is no mention in the manual, attach the aluminum servo mounts to the servo w/o any spacer and put the servo in the truck. It'll then be obvious what spacer you need if you need one. If you can get the screws through the chassis into the mounts w/o the spacers, you're fine or you'll otherwise see just how offset the servo mounts are relative to the holes in the chassis and which spacer you need to push the mounts back relative to the servo will be clear.

For the steering horn, just test fit them.

I was going to replace the hexes with the JC aluminum units front and back. I'm on the fence if the receiver box is worth bothering with. i was surprised to see a "C" clip used instead of a crush tube.
