I think my buddy has the same. If so, you definitely should be able to adjust the EPAs, we just did it last week when he upgraded his servo to a Savox 1258TG.

I ordered a cheap D227f off hobbypartz.com it has a .09 response time and I got the savox 1257 tg too just in case that goes, the D227f was 15$ so I figure I wont lose much and the reviews on it are not too bad.

Nice, I run the 1257 in my buggy and 1258 in my SC. I have another 1258 coming in, going into my 4x4 SC (or TC, not sure which I'm getting first).

The pictures I have seen of it has blue shocks on it. Maybe they will change the FT kit too and add the 12MM hubs to that too. :D

They are blue V2 shocks. Same stuff, cheesy anodizing.

All driver IMO. I took 1st in Expert Mod with a complete RTR out of the box my first time I raced it.... with exception of tire changes.

I still run the RTR car..ish. I swapped out for my Spektrum system, Savox SC-1258TG, Tekin Redline unsensored 5800kv, and RX8, Lunsford turnbuckles(stock ones suck), CVDs, tires of course. But the shocks, and plastics are all RTR. Running the gear diff with 7k oil. 35w oil in front and rear shocks, red springs in front, green in rear. Top 5 in A-Main for Expert Mod at most events, running against other FT cars.

I will be getting the Factory Team roller next time around however.

Everyone around here seems to start with the Chad Due setup and then tweaks from there.

Asharus 06-17-2011 10:33 AM

I use this with the tweaks he posted, except gray springs in the back instead of green. Both for indoor clay and outdoor dirt. The only thing I switch out are tires. Green bar codes for indoor clay and green goosebump for outdoor dirt.

Edit: Using 17.5 Ballistic geared at 75/26. No timing/boost.

Whats the better shock. Pro-Line Power Stroke Shocks or Associated FT V2 shocks.

I can't imagine the Pro-line shocks being better than the FT V2 shocks.

pleased with my what turned out to be a test run only(track pc wouldn't work) it took a couple of runs to see how i could drive the truck its been 2yrs since i ran offroad and it was 4wd mod but very happy with the truck

I had my maiden run with my FT SC10 yesterday as well. My 17.5 "blinky" time would of TQ'd open SC:D Yes, I do like this truck:nod: I got it pretty dialed in only using the FT weight ballast, didn't want to add the extra 3 oz if I didn't have to since I was running 17.5, gotta keep it light if possible. Ended up using Durango light red springs in the rear, they're in between an AE green and silver.

I was hoping to pick up a screw kit for my truck - Is there much difference between the RCscrews and tony's kit?

Also noticed Tony's stocks a metric conversion kit - After I bought a set of Dynamite tools :flaming:

Can someone please tell me if the stock SC10 RTR wheels can be used for Pro-Line Gladiator 2.2" tires? I mean is it wide enough to hold the tires properly?

I plan to purchase 1 set Gladiators M3 SC 2.2" and 1 set Calibre 2.0 SC 2.2" M3.

Thanks.

offtraxx 06-19-2011 06:09 AM

u need short coarse specific tires. the inside of the wheel is 3" diamiter. for just a plain 2.2 wheel, t4 wheels will work but not alowed at most tracks
