Unfortunately, I have used 2 of those bodies, over a year, with poor results. I love the looks and downforce of the body but it does nothing to decrease the parachute effect. Has anyone else had better results with any other bodies?

Cut a vent in the very ft & two vents in the rear ....;)

Outdoors in the wind , makes a huge difference..

wrong offset. slash wheels would stick out about a 1/4- 1/2 inch outside the body. I havn't seen any beadlocks for the sc10 yet (would be the same for the 4x4 too). maybe do some more searching or just use stock rims and glue.
beadlocks are nice but i have had bad experiances using them on sct's.

yes and no...the Slash rear wheels would work just fine. the slash fronts do stick out a little further.

Ok guys, I have been researching the Proline Flo-Tek body. I'm looking for a new body that will provide good downforce and decrease the parachute effect. URC website did a comparison which showed that the body did best when they cut out even more areas than designed for. Is there any other bodies out there that would be better?

Ive been having good luck with the proline chevy pro-2 body with the vents cut out at the back. has good down force, with little parachute effect. looks B.A. too

gearing

I just put a novak 17.5 in my sc10, running outdoor decently big track, what gearing do you all recommend? I currently have it geared for castle sct but its not fast at all with the 17.5.

V1 to v2

I have a sc10 rtr with v1 shocks. What would I need to convert them to the new v2 that comes on the ft sc10

The V2 shocks are definately easier to build. They are bottom load, so it eliminates the plastic retainer clip from inside the shocks.

All you really need is the bodies and bleeder caps.

Need some gearing advise, picking up my sc10 tommorrow,I need to know what everyone is running in a boosted sc10, tekin rs with 17.5. Boost on 45 and my rpm is 1600 -18000 for end rpm,I know my t4 was a 75/27 so I'm sure it's in that range

20 SMOKE 07-18-2011 04:00 AM

depends on the track but i have a 13.5 with 23/81 but i could use a 24 or 25,your close with that combo just check temps 2-3 min
