Just rebuilt my trans w/ complete new ball diff, new idler gear and new bearings.....seems like it doesnt spin as free as the old gears....wonder if its just the new bearings and gears need to run in a bit...any thoughts??

If you're sure you've assembled it correctly and that nothing is binding, run it in a bit, then reasses.

Double check the screws through the transmission case. Blue loctite on the very end, tighten very lightly, look between the motor plate and slipper to ensure that the screws are not rubbing on the back of the slipper plate.

I see ur theory but i spun it b4 even putting on the slipper assy....i tore it apart and checked it. It all looks fine so i think it just needs run in

start with a 75/26 and go up or down a tooth on your pinion depending on temps. personally i run 75/26 on high bite indoor tracks and have went up to as high as 75/28 on medium traction large outdoor tracks.

+3 on the gearing and for profile, I run my LRP at 3-6-0(blinky)-10 in my SC10 with a 17.5.

You will need to drop 2-3 teeth on the pinion and check your temps more religiously for boosted.

However, the non-stock spec LRP's do not really push the boost like the the stock spec one or the Tekin ESC's do. Therefor, I would start the boost at "9" for that setting and then go to "10" after a run if everything is Ok.
