However, most of us guys run the Suburbs, and theirs steer more then mine, so I figured it has to be in the setup. I am one of the only locals that is running stock at the moment, so I really can not ask for a lot of help since they are all running mod!

Also, does anyone have a chart or something of all the gearing options that will work? I am looking for an equal amount of speed and tourqe from my 17.5. I though about going with a 69 spur with 35 pinion which gives me the FDR I am aiming for, but not sure if I can manage that!

Whoa I think that will be the first time I see a pinion almost bigger then the spur lol....... What esc are you running? You could just go with a lower gearing on the pinion and raise your timing or add boost (if you have that option) etc..........

The SC10 4x4 wheels and Proline Protrac wheels are the right offset. Some have called them Zero offset.

im running bow fighters all the way around, even on a loose dirt track i get enough grip to pick the front tires up and ride a wheelie! love them, my tire of choice

Well I am a carpet guy at heart:sneaky: And usually I am running either a Tekin RS or RS Pro. I am running just the RS right now, however its a stock class, so no boost or timing can be added! So I was trying to get around a 5 FDR..

I only hear of 69 on buggies, and for non timing buggies they run 69/34-35, you might wanna try a 75 26 or 27 no timing.

Well I was wondering if Blitz wheels would work good on it.

What would be the difference between the two gearing combos?

No the Blitz wheels have too much offset. The new Hazard wheels are pushing gthe SC10 to the max ROAR spec limits. The Blitz wheels would hit the body for sure.

I believe if you have the same Fdr with a 69 or 75 it wouldn't run any different,I know most guys at my track run a 75 or higher and leave the smaller spurs for the buggies.

im still using the gold front springs with good results but im seeing most are now using the blue front with #2 piston. is that a better setup? or anybody try the blue vs gold back to back and see a difference?

Right now I have the blue silver set up with number two pistons,I keep going back and forth with these and the kit springs.I've had my truck out twice now so I'm playing with shock oil weight right now.I will tell you with the blue/silver the truck is stuck like glue but alittle soft for me,but then again I'm coming from stadium truck so I'm learning the technique on how this truck likes to be driven, two races with two 3rd places a main finishes isint bad when I'm still playing with setup.

"Better" is highly subjective. The blue spring will generally give you slightly more steering, that's all. Since these trucks tend to understeer, most people tend to migrate towards a setup that will give you more steering.

im actually thinking of trying a setup i ran on my t4,3piston up front with silver springs and 32.5 weight and greens in rear with #1 piston with 30wt.i think once you get a good set up this truck is money money

FWIW, I've felt very hooked up at the rear running #1's/green/30wt. Front I'm usually using #2/blue/32.5. I've yet to be able to get enough "natural" steering out of the front end so I'm running a setup to let car rotate off a stab of the brakes when needed without rotating too far or having the front end then hook under braking.
