Maybe. The ball studs are different...

You need the following ae parts:
91051-ball cups
91048-ball studs (bk uses the ti nitride ones)
91038- hd turnbuckles 65mm (there is also an ft titanium option like bk is running)

The ball stud is 3mm thread and taller than the std ones, so you need to take into account that when adding / subtracting washers from the inner ball stud.

Matt, do you run these? Is it a worthwhile upgrade?

I have them but have not put them on yet. I have had some issues with the AE ball cups lately and have been using the losi grey ones in the back, so this will definitely add strength back there.

I have an SC10 4x4, the tie rods/ball studs certainly are robust. I haven't broke anything on that truck yet, except for the 540 6.5 I had go thermal in five minutes the first time I ran it...

Can't blame that one on the truck.

Just got the SC10RS RTR for the indoor season on the local club.

Drives great but need a little more power.

I normal drives nitro and it is many years ago i have driven electric.

Can i just buy any brushless motor under the 5500kv (speed control limit) and mount? Sensored or sensorless?
The SC700 Speed control is sensorless.

I use 7.2v 5000mah 50C lipo's

Need help with new SC10RS. I'm not used to LRP electronics, when I turn the switch on it twitches the steering alittle to the right and nothing else happens. No light on the ESC either. I'm used to Castle ESCs so I guess I'm alittle confused on why this is happening. Any help would be nice. Thanks

try reversing the throttle servo in your controller and then turn on the esc. I was having a similar issue then i read some were about reversing the servo in the controller and then it worked! Hope this helps!

sell the RTR stuff and pick up sensored speedo (tekin rs, lrp sxx, etc.) and get a 8.5 or 10.5 motor

I heard that you can convert a T4 or B4 into an SC10. If that's true, what parts will be needed besides the obvious chassis and body?

I'm not sure but I think the parts would just be about as much as getting a nice FT SC10 roller for $125-150 in the F/S section.

t4 conversion

the t4 and sc10 are dammed near the same same thing. ask associated my friend did but i forget what parts they said you need.

20 SMOKE 09-20-2011 01:16 PM

its cheaper to buy a used one

If you get some good deals on parts it can make sense. I converted my T4 a couple months ago after finding a new parts lot on EBAY and had a body already.

A b4 is much less cost effective since you will also need new arms, cvd bones and turnbuckles.

Thanks for the info. The link did a good job at explaining what was needed. That's more helpful than just saying buy a roller without any background info or justification.

Is the t4.1 and sc10 ft trans cases the same?? I thought they were different along w/ the t plate but im doin some rebuilding and i had some original t4 parts that differ but the t4.1 stuff looks the same as sc10......anybody know whats up here??

Asharus 09-20-2011 08:27 PM

im pretty sure the sc10/b4.1/t4.1 tranny components are identical, different from the b4/t4
