Who's running the gear diff? Do you prefer it over the ball diff?

I'm about to get one of these trucks, I want to get it with the gear diff if it's better.

Thanks. :)

I have the ball diff, and i have no complaints, i enjoy having the adjustability of the ball diff over the complexion on the gear diff

Everything on a vehicle has a primary purpose. Learn what those are and focus on that. You'll do a lot better

I highly recommend this following thread it completely transformed my understanding of how to tune an RC car:

TUNING WITH CAMBER LINKS

I use to race these trucks in real life in the class 9A here in the midwest im just trying to figure out if what you do to a real truck will work on one of these scale trucks

Does the ball diff run/work better than a gear diff but just has more maintinance?

My family was also involved in Offroad Short course in the Midwest for many years. I have not found much of my full scale experience apply to my SC10 but the general stuff like which line to take on the track or general suspension set-ups may apply some. My kids prefer the RC version cause it is safer in their eyes.

The ball diff is much smoother, track side adjustable & def ideal for racing hands down.. The gear diff is def better to just bash around... :sneaky:

Mine seems just big enough to not be able to lock the battery compartment. I don't want to put a lot of pressure on the LiPo to keep it locked in.

This is my first LiPo battery, so I'm trying to take exta care with it.
