Anyone use TC based BL systems with good success? I have a sensored NovakSS13.5 and LRP Sphere ESC I'd like to use instead of the sensorless BL system in my new for me SC10.

(Didnt think it was worthy of its own thread but after 15 pages from the start didnt get a good sense of my query...thanks in advance)

Matt, any of them work well. I tried a 8.5 and went back to a boosted 10.5 set up for our tracks here. I think the 9.5 would be a happy medium. I know a team mate that runs the 9.5 and loves it.

I am running an 8.5 boosted and it is very fast and allows me to drive similar to my SC10 4x4. Full throttle only when it makes sense and part throttle everywhere else.

8.5 is your best mod choice , its a heavy truck , a 8.5 in a Sct is like a 10.5 in a buggy ....

I've been running a 13.5 boosted in mine, but our track is all technical so there are few places that anything else makes sense. I am finding that I want more umph in a couple sections so I putting my 8.5 in without boost. I had been running the 8.5 in my RT5 and really liked it so it should be great in the SC10 with all the extra weight.

What track are you going to run at I'm using a 13.5 but may want a 10.5 I'm at b&b

latemodel13 07-10-2011 12:35 PM

Motor

I'm running a 10.5 boosted and it has more than my 7.5 non boosted and drives the truck much better.
