Any one try tc3 hex never mind to narrow

mihaelbencek 07-10-2011 01:18 PM

what you mean, when you say boostet
is this a boost programm on esc???

i run a lrp x12 5,5t with a lrp sxx v1 esc. this esch has no boost programm. the version 2 has

so whatyou mean with boostet. its interestibg to gear that a boostet 10,5 has more power. then a normal 7,5.
that would give more runtime, i think

Has anyone had success with the updated Proline 12mm front setup using the Boca bearings? Wondering if this is now a viable option since the update, running both FT and 4x4, I'd like to consolidate the ridiculous tire collection I now must keep.

the set I got less than a month ago has been fine, no more play than the stock setup.

Great, I'm going to give it a shot, don't want to wait for the RS parts. Thanks much.

That motor and esc will work just fine.

I had been running the 8.5 in my RT5 and really liked it so it should be great in the SC10 with all the extra weight.

G'day guys,

What sort of FDR (spur/pinion) are you running with the 13.5 BL motor and Timing/Boost on the ESC? I know that I had 78/27 in for a FDR of 7.5 when running NO timing so I figure about 9 - 9.2 with?

I'm using the Rear CVDs on my FT SC10 and I keep losing the pin when the retaining ring shifts. I've tried CA glue on them but even that doesn't work for long. Any other tips for this problem?

Does anyone use the regular dogbone style rear axles?

Are you using stock arms/hubs, etc? Which CVD is it, the one with the C retaining clip? If CA didnt prevent it from shifting, it's definitely binding on something.

I'm new to off road and I picke up a SC10, my question is, do you guys use extension cables for the servo to reach the receiver?

Asharus 07-12-2011 10:33 AM

No, but I don't see why not if it's too short

I don't think it's been cut. Do you mount your receiver towards the rear of the truck or in the middle?
