with large jumps. I can see running RPM Arms on the front just ive never broke
a stock rear A-arm yet. And I got several weekends on my truck.
My truck is a tank and I like it this way, especially in mod class.
A little bit of extra protection for the front always helps.
My Arms didnt bind after I installed them, so if yours are binding then you did something wrong.

I didn't say the A arms bind, i read somewhere in this forum long ago that someone was using aftermarket arms in the rear which was causing their CVD C clamp to slide around causing the pin to come out

Any 8.5 gearing recomendations? I was thinking 87/18-20......small/medium indoor track

I'm at 84/18, but start with 84/17.

I'm 18/84, temps are fine up to about the 6 min. mark, then they start to climb so keep that in mind.

Anyone messed with the sway bar setup?? The instructions say to run the links to the arm 1.75" long..thats 1 inch and 3/4 long from end to end right?? Just seems long to me. Thanks

Will not make much difference if you have a shorter or longer link , the main thing is to make both equal & clearance for free movement .....

1.75 is bout right for the rear bar.

I have a 8.5t with 18/87 and after a good 20 minute just for fun temp was 165. After a normal race (6 mins) the temp is 122. I am running on a medium size outdoor track with bad traction.

COUGH Cherry is correct;) moving the link closer or farther from the pivot point of the bar can have an affect as well. Makes the bar feel stiffer or softer, again make sure the lengths are equal.

Heya folks, just picked up a couple of sc10 after racin buggys for many years. What would be better, the beadlock rims from proline or the rulux rims from jconcepts? Trucks are for racing not bashing and your advice is much appreciated.
