Okay ill keep stock arms

As for the MIP diff. I could rebuild the stocker would be the cheapest route. Is there and pros/cons to the mip

The stock ball diff and the MIP are basically the same thing. MIP only came out with theirs when AE only had the gear diff's available.

If you want to upgrade the diff, go with B-fast. They are great. The stock diff kit is fine though.

Sounds good I'm new to the AE sct's I've had a few slashes so its time to upgrade trucks. I am also timing a sc10 4x4

First dirt race in a while for me as a racer but most of all first dirt race with my SC10 or a SCT in general, I have 500,000 diff oil in there now how light should I have it? I was thinking 5,000 or something on those lines, and what should I be running for springs and shock oil the track is kinda loose I have not ever ran on it before but by the talk I have heard its a loose dusty track for the most part. Race is a week from sunday.

:weird: 500,000??

I ran last year on a loose dusty track with 5000 fluid. I ran 10k at the start of the season but it didn't turn that well.

For springs use red front and green rear or thereabouts. 35 and 30 on the shock oils. This is how I have my truck setup now and I love it :)

I mount mine at the forward most part of the bottom of the chassis on the receiver side. Some mount it on the servo.

Is there anyone that makes a steel or titanium gear conversion for the diff? It's been a long while since I raced rc10gt's and I had metal gearing in it. The diffs look the same but they prob are not. I haven't had an AE for a while.
