Anyone see a temp drop from the FT milled aluminum motor plate, or is it just for show? Fighting temp issues a little, curious if it'll help.
LRP SXX stock spec V2, x-12 13.5, geared 20/84 (per LRP), 4 dot timing insert, modes are 3-3-4-0, I think. Motor comes off at 180 after maybe 10 minutes. Esc has fan, comes off at 95! Or, Less boost, more pinion? Speed is perfect right now... |

As far as temp difference with the FT plate, I haven't had a need for extra cooling, so I can't really tell if the FT plate works better than the RTR. |
almost done building my sc10 just taking a break because i have no SAE hex drivers so i've had to use the ones that came in the kit so my fingers hurt like a bleep lol
about to start on the shocks here in a minute. |
Is anyone racing on astro with the SC10?
I'd like to have a starting setup to try it out |
Can anyone tell me if there is an actual turnbuckle wrench that will work on on the Factory Team turnbuckles??? None of my regular size wrenches work...:weird:

The track: a very loose running, somewhat packed dirt/clay indoor (sometimes pretty wet) place. I quickly went down from 10k to 7k after raceday one with this truck, that was just too much all around though it worked well on the concrete outside. 7k was better but still way too strong, and 5k definitely got in the ballpark so I kept that in for 4 race weekends. I am hoping that 3k puts me in the sweet spot for this loose track, while still keeping me from diffing out. If you've got significantly more grip, you might want to mess with the 5k to 7k fluids. What's cool about a gear diff is you can make these adjustments, though it sure takes a while to get to the trans, so don't expect to change fluids in-between heats. |
