Yes, I am running an RS in my sc10 with version 200 software. On medium size outdoor tracks with a 17.5 I am usually around 28 teeth on the pinion with the 75 tooth spur, 5 degrees of timing on the motor, 15 on boost, and full turbo with .7 for the delay. If you don't have version 200 email me at [email protected] and I'll respond with the zip file as long as you don't have gmail (gmail blocks most attachments).

t4 tranny

Do you have to get the t4 T plate when you convert to the t4 diff? Or will the stock Sc10 plate work?

You don't need the t4 T plate, but it has more material than the sc10 plate.

$190 to $200 for Novak GTB and Motor. I don't know how you can beat the price. I used to have a Novak GTB but switched to the smaller footprint of the Tekins, but they are allot more expensive

I switched to the tekin as well. For under what your wanting to spend buy a havok system from novak. Turns are irrevellant in price as the motors all cost the same, though havok systems will only go as low as a 8.5.

If you want a good used GTB send me a pm.

Yup, your golden with a tranny and t-plate. Best thing I did to my sc10 was the ball diff.:sneaky:

May I ask, Whats the difference between a gear diff and a ball diff in terms of performance?

Ball diff- More side bite traction

Gear diff- More forward bite traction

The biggest thing a ball diff provides over a gear diff is a constant differential force no matter how large the diff angle is. With a ball diff you have the same resistance no matter how fast one tire is spinning over the other. A gear diff packed with grease or fluid will resist diffing out more when there is a larger difference in left/right tire rpm. This is most noticeable when accelerating on a rough surface at a decent clip. On smooth tracks there really isn't much benefit if you have the right fluid in a gear diff.
