You are talking about the hub carriers right? If so, no, the FT SC10 does not come with aluminum hub carriers. I just bought and constructed an Factory Team SC10 at the end of last year, and it did not come with aluminum hub carriers.

However, if you plan to switch over to 12mm hexes (I'd recommend you look into it, page# 575 of this thread) you will most likely find that you will need to switch the rear hub carriers to those that are on the B44 (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAAEZ&P=7). This is b/c the stock SC10 rear bearings are too small and burn up with the hex adapters on. Therefor, if you put on the B44 hubs that allow for a much larger bearing, you can switch to aluminum hubs then. Just a thought :)

Yea I noticed my front bearings seemed to start getting sticky fast. I got some ceramics from Acer to replace them and will see how well they hold up.

Yeah, I'm sure it's different for everyone, but my rear bearings blew apart in the first hour of driving with the JConcept rear hex adapters on. But, now since I put the B44 hubs and larger bearing on, I haven't had a single problem since. CraigMBA made an informative post about it and included all of the part numbers you would need to get (for the carriers, bearings, and crush sleeve). If you want to look at it later, it is on this thread... the page #'s 622, and the actual post #'s 9326.

got some green 22T front springs in the mail yesterday. they are the perfect length for the front SC10 shocks, but when you compress the losi and AE blue spring between your fingers the AE feels MUCH stiffer. the rate for the green losi is 3.5 and the rate for the Blue AE is 3.45. is there an explanation for this? i hear manufacturers rates vary, but everyone else seems to be matching the numbers up when converting...

I haven't played with the 22t front springs, but when I measured the rears, AE greens (1.9 stated rate) measured stiffer than Losi big bore rear red springs (2.6 stated rate).

So you aren't crazy.

I'm not sure about the stiffness being different with similar rates, but I do run the 22T springs on my FT SC10 and the 22 springs on my FT B4.1 WE. And I love both of the springs, the Losi springs do feel really well on the SC10. You just have to add a little weight in some certain spots when you switch to the Losi springs from the AE springs, that's what I found at least.

No it doesn't, but you can take the parts off of the RS and put them onto the Factory Team ans you'll be able to run the same hexes and rims and tires.

As far as the weights go, everybody has a slightly different setup. However, I have found that most people run their weights in the same spots on the chassis, just different amounts of weight on those spots.

I wrote a detailed post about weight setups for the SC10 back on page #656 of this thread, about 1/2 way down the page. It is a very good weight setup that I run at my local indoor clay track (medium-high grip). There have been others on here who ran the setup I describe, and also had great luck with it. Hope that helps :)

Anybody know what it takes to get stuff stickied to the first page of this thread? We could have added the parts list for hex conversions, gearing recommendations, etc. and wouldn't have to answer the same questions over and over.
