It would be on a meadium sized track run wet with a 17.5 motor, and 40c 5000 packs. I know about the tire thing but want to see it i can make it fast on the stock ones.

Thanks for any and all input.

My video will show a novak 8.5 on small in door med clay track http://67.199.85.166/racing/setups/s..._ocrc_2009.pdf . I run 30 degree caster blocks and t4 cvd also b44 rear hubs bearings and crush tube that. So with a 17.5 you should be good to go. all other parts are stock. Good luck on the build. also the truck can only do as good as you drive it. This is a Vid of my SC10 with all stock parts and set up from the box. Stock tiers will not work for a few laps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KIDvdVtMKk

PT, that video cracks me up. Seeing your SC10 clear the triples is awesome. No running start, just pure get some.

Thanks. I've got the driving thing down. lol But are the b44 hubs with the crush tube a direct fit? will i need new bearings or not? Your truck looks dialed and the wheelies are great. looks like the 8.5 is a bit much for the tight track.

One question on the hubs. Do they increase the toe any or did you but them on for durabilty?

Anybody heard a word on bead-lock rims?

xv-townboy 07-03-2009 08:55 PM

Just wondering what size pinion would match the stock 75 tooth spur with the castle 4600 motor?..Thanks

Start with a 17 pinion then check your motor and esc temp after 5 min. don't let them get over 170 deg. too often or they will not last too long.
