So.... I have had my SCTE sitting on the shelf for the last 6 mo. while focusing on other classes. But I am gonna break it out again this week and get her tuned up for some racing. What did I miss as far as hot tweeks and setups.

The last time I payed any attention the TLR tuning kit was just about to launch. and there was talk of what chassis was better. BCE, KH, bump or the tlr. lol. So... Which chassis won? . (doesn't matter I'm happy w my BCE)

What I am interested in is if there are any "new" must have options or setups.

I suppose I could go back and read a couple hundered pages but Ill never find the time to actually do that. Whatever happened to saladfork updating he first page of this thread??? I don't see anything new on there.

Thanks in advance.

New dunford std setup.
http://www.losi.com/ProdInfo/Files/L...ford-02_12.pdf

New diff gears were release. (same part number just updated).

Not much more then that.

Chassis--- Stick around we just got done arguing about screws so the great chassis debate is due for another go around!

Thanks Casper. So whats the deal with the new gears? I never had any issues with the diffs except needing Chris pins and glueing the inserts and the HD outdrives and the hardened shims and blocks from chris as well, the HPI 2mm hex diff screws and.... Come to think of it I think the diff cups and the gears were the only stock parts left in the diff. Lol. Any plans for new diff cups?

Seriuosly though. Are the gears just a durability upgrade? I wouldn't think a performance gain. I still have a few sets of the old gears NIP i hoarded back during the great gear shortage after the truck first launched and everyone was chewing them up because of the soft cross pins.

Yea. The stock screws are chitty. Just get a set of Tonys and forget about it.

Any and for a TLR version of this truck yet? I think it's about time. Make it come with all the goodies already installed

Which motor and ESC are you running? Are you spinning the tires everywhere?

For reference I get about 400mA/minute with my Pro4/RX8.

i have noticed i have gone thru few too many servo savers ... they work good for about 2 weekends and then start sticking ... they look good from what i can see ... but ive tighted and loosed it up and seems to stick .. now from what i can see the tube the saver goes around has some scratches on it , that would cause it to stick i would assume so i will need a new one ? i posted pic below ... i thought maybe too much torque from servo, im using a hitec 5996tg 180 oz @ .10 secs
