edit: although it could've been 'tare:d' away, but even if it was it just doesn't add up. Just the chassi alone is what, 70g less? Motor is a good bit lighter aswell.
when the box was on the scale it was tared(zeroed) so it was the correct weight.
When you look at parts that were swiched from plastic to aluminium it makes sence, shock caps and preloads, chasis braces, rear hubs, and i bet my PL gladiators with closed cell foams along with the carbon fiber top plates i bet weigh more than stock.

Mine weighs in at 5lbs 3oz with the tires on,no body or battery. I have the tlr kit,cf bulk head, cntr plate,hd out drives. Still the stock chassis but that won't be for long. Still going between BCE or KH.

do i need to make some adjustment thru the program?
IMO you are undergeared. I ran a 4.5 novak with the torque rotor between 16-19 pinions and it never got over 160. Probably equivalent Kv wise to what you have. You said it was heating up with a bigger pinion. How hot was it?

She's got a bit of cushion on her, but she treats me right.

I am noticing a change from the normal 5/5/3 and 5/7/3 setups to mainly 7/5/3. Has anyone that has ran both the 5/7/3 and the 7/5/3 setups chime in and explain the benefit of running such I thick front fluid in a truck that has a tendency to push off power?

In every setup sheet on the Losi website (except for 1 3/3/2); all the drivers are running 7/5/3. What's your take on this?

Two weeks ago I ran 7/5/3 and like it, then this past week I ran 5/5/3 to get a little more steering, but ended up all over the place. I think with the trucks getting lighter and motors gaining power (I run pro4 4600/RX8) the 7/5/3 is taming down all that power and making it more manageable. I'm still real new to racing so a lot is driver error, but those are my thoughts.

We all change gearing to 13t or 14t before we ran them we were checking temps also esc's ran around 200 and motors around 160-180 depending on which gear we had on mine was shutting down at around 4 min run time and my buddy with 4000 was about the same I have a rx8 coming from amain lot of guys at my track running same setup im also running cc pro2 bec so still not understanding the melt down problem I thank my have overheated before

If you guys are going to post weight pics, At least have some sort of standard when claiming weight's.

Fully RTR Battery,Tires, and body

Roller weight, Minus battery, tires and body.

all this "my car weights" this and "my car weights that" means nothing without some sort of generalized standard to go by.

Mine weighs 2704g fully RTR as weighed at the JBRL where the SCTE took the top 3 positions.

Mine only has the lightened outdrives and carbon fiber towers, RC8 chassis brace, other than that the chassis is still in ARTR form. The rest of the sc is, MMP, Fantom Fusion2 4.5, CC BEC, Spektrum S6030, Trakpower 6200 2s, AMB transponder, Futaba R2104GF receiver, Proline Snipers, Proline Flotek with no vents.

Attachment 889922
Motor: t8 2650
Esc: rx8
Batt: smc 6000 60c 2s
Servo: savox 1258
Hop ups: tlr tunning kit, eight 2.0 shocks, eight sway bars, lightened battery box, elite motor mount... Think that's it.

No temp problems what so ever. Batt usualy takes 4000-4500 after 10 minute main. That's at full wood.
