Should be perfect. 201 oz-in of torque is more than enough and .10 is acceptable. I'm running a 9100s in mine which is 180 and .06. It will lift the truck up fine when it's on its side.

That XP1015 is what I use. I like it so much I got one for the SC10. This is the first time in over 20 years when I could say "I don't think I need anymore servo."

yeah thats why I was asking. I think the speed is really fast as well. Works great in 1/8 buggy just thought it may be to fast in this truck. Still need to get a esc and motor and lipo yet. Should I go with a 540 motor or 550? Also what mah lipo and c rating

550 is a bigger can, so it will run cooler. But it also weighs more. 5000 mah is a good racing battery. Its nice to have 40C or more.

But 540 cans work just as good. And weigh less. Any motor can do good with the remote in the right hands!

Im running a hitec servo, with 130 oz of tourqe and .10 for speed and I still have to turn down the steering. This truck makes any servo turn on a dime!

Havok sc pro 550 4.5 shuts down my receiver every lap or so for 1 to 3 seconds with 5400 25c lipo 2s. I changed to 5200 35c 2s and problem goes away. Go back to 25 c problem comes back. Any thoughts. Would esc timing have any effect. Just curious I now run a 5600 50c 2s w/o any issues. Seems like 135a would be sufficient but is not?

NOVAK
clearly can not run on anything but 40c or above. Everything else just sucks to much amperage and causes problems

I would say the lipo. Since you ran a diffrent battery and the promblem went away. Then you go back to the other lipo and you still have the same promblem. It could be the C rating that made a diffrence, or the 25C pack could of been older and not working as well as the other pack you tried. The only way to tell if it was the C rating would be to try anothet 25C
pack and see if you have that promblem again.

Funny that the novak tech guy said 135a was plenty. Seems like even they don't know what there esc motor combo requires to operate properly.

That's a good thought. Can't check it though as I don't have another 25c battery

For those running their sc10's with an rx8 and pro4 motor, what settings do you recommend for the esc.. Current limiter, timing, rpm start and end points etc?????? Thanks
