You'll be OK. JConcepts foams, wheels, and tires suck anyway
The one that is bigger is only full of air. Those are new tires that have only been run down the hallway with NO holes in the wheel OR tire.
Yep
You don't need it.
In all seriousness, check your alignement between front and rear pullies.

For those of you that have the clutch basket, how did you stretch the stock gear cover? I was thinking of using a hair drier to heat up the plastic & then use a motor to push the gear cover out so the basket can clear the cover. Is there a better way? Will the hair drier heat the cover enough??? Thanks for your help!

So I ran my truck for the first time today. Ran pretty good for the first time out. However I was having issues with rear of the truck washing out under braking while turning. I tried everything I could think of to fix it. I made it better, but not perfect. Any ideas?

My tires filled up with loose dirt a couple weeks ago and i too needed to vent the tire and plug the rim. I went and bought a leather punch from Michael's for like $7. It looks like this

I just fit it over the back side of the rim and it cut right through without going into the foam. No cutting into the sidewall or un-mounting and no burning...

...I tried it a few times on other tires..It works good, but when i punched a tire mounted on a wheel, it does go through the foam??Will this alter the integrity of the foams? The hole goes through the foam small and precise..Will this caus any issues??If i have the wheel off the tire it is a clean cut through the tire and does not effect the foam..The tire i need to punch are mounted?? I know i can make an incision of ther bead but would rather not..Will the foams be ok?I did..Just stuck my nose to it

...I think the hole punching, drilling methods are better though bc you can make a more precise hole and you wont burn the foams which could be worst than having a small incision hole going through them..Trully though, I don't know for sure which is worst?

That seems like a cool way to get er done..So just use those small nail scissors that come in grooming kits right?

I disagree, JConcepts produce excellent tires and foams, barcodes v2's rule where I run, that and Panther Switch 2.0's. Rulux wheels are tight too! And their body's and wings. I can't believe you would diss such a great little company. People are pretty rude on here these days. Think before you speak please or come up with something better.

BTW...after doing some parking lot playing tonight, arrived at 3mm of spacing on the front inner ballstuds and none in the rear, short rear camber link, long front camber link, 25wt oil in the front with 1.1 pistons and 40wt with 1.3s in the rear with yellows up front and blues in the back.

Hey, ThunderbirdJunkie doesn't like their chintzy fake Chinese polycarbonate with bubbles, striations, and unmelted resin in it, or their fragile wheels, or their tires. If you want to argue about it, go start another thread. ThunderbirdJunkie will continue to like companies that make stuff here, in the US, that is higher quality....for the same price as the JC stuff. It's bad enough our SC10 4ws are made outside of this country and has QC issues, don't try to convince ThunderbirdJunkie to put more crap on it from outside this country.
PS: telling someone they're wrong about something that has been directly involved in winning more races than you or I ever will, is pretty laughable. Quality/USA or not.

Those FT Hex hubs really help that annoying bind issue when the plastic hexes are actually snapped onto the Pin. It wasn't a super issue for my kit, but these make it really nice.
