If you're local track or hobby store has other capacitors by a different brand they would work fine too.

Reventon pro 1.0 with a novak ballistic motor. I've tried a 4.5 and a 5.5 with the same result. The motor will run fine then suddenly the whole thing will lock up almost like you blew up the tranny and it jammed. Give it a second and then it will work again. I have the esc in blinky mode but after this happens the Speedo will blink both lights alternating with each other.
Anyone know what is happening?

Welcome, I'm sure you'll love the performance!
I so however have a question... Is the PC interface ever going to be released for MAC??!?!??
I detest having to launch Windoze for any reason. Lol

The fact that SP can't even update their app to run the iOS that will change AGAIN in 3 months leads me to believe that the answer is a big fat NEVER. I am slowly switching my equipment from SP to other ESCs because of the fact they can't update their software, making my wifi module completely useless.

It was said several pages back that they are working on an update for the latest iOS.
I'd hang tight if I were you. So many other manufacturers claim X,Y, Z and overcharge handsomely for all the bells and whistles they supposedly offer and they lack total Mac support. I was a Tekin man for 25+ years and their total lack of support for anything other than Crappy Windoze turned me off completely. For what they charge for ESC's they can more than afford to incorporate a microscopic BlueTooth module or at the very least produce one that's similar to Speed Passion's external BlueTooth and Wi-Fi modules.
IDK about anyone else, but ESC's are pretty much Set it and Forget it unless you need to make a quick change which is more than simple enough with just the program box, and since SP makes it a point to consider Apple device owners, I will give them the benefit of the doubt for some time to come.

Ya, the latest iOS being iOS 7, is going to be replaced by iOS 8 in September. So if history is any indication of how long it takes SP to update their app, no thanks. I was told the app would be updated and released this summer, great so the iOS 7 compliant app comes out a month before the new iOS, and we wait another year? It is a useless gimmick to have wireless functionality but no way to use it.
They might be set it and forget it ESCs, but one of the big draws was the ability to run 17.5, and mod with the same motor, back to back races and be able to turn boost and timing on, on the fly, if I can't do that, and need a programming card, well I can do that with any other ESC.

Looking at Face Book USA Warehouse page, and there is no descriptions on motors. Wish SP would put a little more info about their products so we could compare. What's the difference between the V3.0 MMM motor and the V3.0 motor? Like I said not much info about either...
