Been running a LRP X11 7.5 in my SC10 with a GT2.0 LPF esc with 428MOD (no changes to programing).
With the LRP starting to show its age, I ordered a Com V3.0 7.5 today to replace it.
Is this still THE program (428MOD) to run or is there a better one?
I race at these tracks.

Presume this is 2wd not 4wd? How are you gearing it? I want to put the LPF in my SC, though I might switch and try a different HW 120a.

my brand new 2.1 pro stock esc went out after the 1st 5min run...Never got hot,ran perfect...all lights come on and fan..does not make beep sounds when I try to recalibrate but it does show the light blinking...Running a sp 10.5...Also tried another motor with no luck
...Never had an issue with speed passion, especially a brand new esc....

How do I put a Reventon S into blinky (stock0?) mode? I was using the LED programmer last night and I couldn't find a way to get it out of Mod0 mode.
Also, I have a 17.5 v3.0 that just stopped working. It was running fine for 5 min or so with good speed, then it would only move at nearly full throttle, then it stopped all together. I checked voltage and it was 8.0v (2S) and motor temperature wasn't even warm. I turned the ESC on/off with no change, tried a rolling start and no change. I swapped out the motor for a Turnigy 17.5 and ran for the rest of the night, even down to the 3.4v/cell cutoff without issue.

to change the firmware you need to hook it up to the computer. The box is for changing the settings with whatever firmware you load into it.

Totally dumb, but did you switch Sensor wire? Same sensor worked on the Turnigy?

I am new to speed passion products but have heard a lot of good things about them, here is what i am looking for, I just purchased a B4.2 and am looking for a ESC and motor for it but really don't know which products speed passion has to offer that would be right for this buggy? Any info would be great.

Had to look! Haven't changed the gearing for over six months.

Was having a heat problem, a race buddy shared Maifield's setup from the ROAR race at Norcal 2011. The radio setting made the difference.

can someone explain how this hobbywing sct pro can be such a great 4wd sc or 8th scale esc with less amperage ratings than the reventon pro?
