On the Protek one can read "A 20 amp power supply (minimum) is recommended for efficient operation with 2S applications." Is it really important, I would rather not take a charger requiring a PS.
I didn't know about the Parallel charging Board, it looks like a good alternative.
Thanks for the info.

Default Serpent Parts/Options

Any one tell me where I can order the new Composite Spur gear from?

Also the new Alloy Steering Servo arm. I am in Australia.

I ran the buggy for the first time on the week end. Super impressed. I ran 5.5.5 in the diffs with the standard set up. Had problems under power, the car wanted to crab sideways?? Found that odd?

Will be going to 7.5.3. for the next meeting.

Track was clay which blue grooves on the racing line after a few races.
Car flew the big jumps well and turns well under power as well as under brakes. I did brake heavily a couple of times before the end of the main straight which saw the car from somersault nasty distances. (no Damage). A lot of people commented positivley on the car .

I'm running a Tekin 1900kv motor and the best possible possition I could install it in the sensor wire touchs the steering post. Is this normal?

Have any of you turned the front plate on the motor to get a better mounting possition? I'm having to use the smaller flat head screws to mount it to the motor mount. I would like to use the bigger 4mm screws instead. Is this possible?

Just got in my 2.0 rear end update kit from dirtydan (thanks) and I am going to be running it with a shorty setup as well. Getting ready for the indoor season so I am pumped to try it out. I'll report back after I get it dialed in.
