Ya ot was upsetting that D8 is amazing lol. The tekin fits fine. Gonna tweak to get my r8 to fit right and should be good. Really like the wiring in the photo above. Cant wait to drive this car. Running kit setup for now

I don't think it flexes enough to matter. I might be wrong but I didn't see any evidence from this weekend's racing it's going to cause me issues. If I do see it will cause an issue I will modify the stock plastic spur gear cover and fit it on top of the graphite.
Additionally, my transponder is on the chassis under the front drive shaft, extra wiring is coiled under the ESC mount.

Where is your antenna wire? I mounted my receiver back a little (velcro so it is removable and I can get to the two screws mounting the plate) then the standard antenna mount curved to run back and stay under the bodywork. The "tray" space for the receiver is really tiny, even for a Futaba 614FF. If it was not for the bigger offroad tracks we run on, I might put in my E receiver with no antenna wire.
I hate looking at wires. I do my best to hide them.

Granted i got that others have a different set up. i guess that im asking is from the guys that build them all the time. what length do you prefer to start given stock kit and turnbuckles. I just need an idea of where to start for space between ball joints and i can adjust from there. the way the manual suggests I'm thinking would cause excessive wear due to the position of the tires.

It works with the stock tray also. Most run the sensor cable out the middle of the car though with the stock tray. You have to drill a hole in the stock mount for it.

Can someone help by explaining to me the differences between all the different suspension brackets? I have the serpent 1/8 rtr ebuggy and recently broke one of the rear cheap plastic ones that came stock. (600551 -$6) I've always been a firm believer of you brake it, you upgrade it. So what in the world is the difference between the 3 other machined options? They are all the same price on serpentamerica so I don't know how to decide, and they all seem to be the same. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
go to the downloads section on the 811 buggy and you will see 3 downloads. 2 for inserts and one for kick up.
standard parts are : 600155 600156 600176 600177
optionals are : 600265 600266 600267 (these are High roll center versions and will allow for higher kick ups)
