The sport has cheaper materials for the most part. No spring steel. Shocks are different material, mabye plastic caps. Stamped aluminum towers. I think dog bones everywhere instead of CVDs.

I don't think there was ever a RTR, just the sport. You will still need motor and ESC.

The sport Be and Be have a lot of differences but once you finish them the difference between them visually is minimal.

Essentially all the aluminium on the sport had less TLC

List...

Shock:

Be has threaded shock bodies Sport has the standard tube style with clamp on ride adjustment. both hard anodized. Shock cap is alu/plastic on the sport with a solid feel to it.

they have upgraded the screws on the Sport so you get longer screws on the links that have lock nuts on the end.

diffs are the same.

drive train is dogbone sytle. the front is CVD. Be is full CVD

shock towers are 4mm 7075 alu. Be has 4.5mm carbons.

suspension holders are non adjustable and plastic but they are beefy so I dont see them breaking.

no mud flaps...
plastic top plate for steering. (Which I actually run on my Be )

some minor running changes that are in the sport may not be on the older batch Be's such as the rear wing holder (600441) this part have been updated to accommodate the center stiffeners (600300) and has the bearing locators for v2.0

I just built one as a demo car and it feels solid.

Soon

as you all know RTR is a rough business and Serpent wants to make it right. We get a lot of requests for RTR cars here in Turkey as well. I am sure all distributors have the same requests piled up on their desks. EP sport RTR will be very successful car both in quality and performance.

Serpent is basically changing the definition of RTR from Ready to Run to Ready to Race.

EP is very stable car so I hear no close plans for an Ep 2.0

you can always get a full 2.0 update and test... will be much cheaper then buying a new car
